Extreme behaviour.
When I want something, I try my best to get it as fast as I can.
Which is why I hate being patient. I am an economist. Waiting is wasting time. Which is why I actually wanted to become a lawyer. However, I am hoping patience is the best policy at this point of time.
If something is good, I will do whatever it takes to get it.
Which is why I am actually trying my best to work hard now. The taste of having more wealth than others is spurring me on. For some people, if their parents give them too much materialistic stuff, they become more spoilt. I function the other way round. And I think you should know this.
The only thing that I think I am good at is feeling the emotions and the ideas that a person is putting across in words, like in a song or in some essay.
And the one thing that I am very bad at is trying to read people in real life. I can never tell what a person is thinking by the way the person speaks or do something in real life.
Its eating me apart.

Rants..
Nothing much to rant about but since I haven't entered anything for the past 3 weeks.. I figure I would just combine a few rants into one big rant..
Firstly, can Iran and North Korea stop trying to be funny? I am not for nor against America but it is so damn obvious that these countries are really screwed up. Iran is just hosting so many terrorists groups while N.Korea has everyone brainwashed by removing freedom of speech/information in the country. Why give them the chance to make a nuke? So yeah Iran is like defying the UN so America is stockpiling oil and having exercises in the Gulf and N.Korea starts testing a few missiles here and there and all this leads to... INCREASE IN PETROL PRICES.
Here are some real numbers to show how bad the increase is.
From 1.2 (Formula 95) to 1.518 per litre.. thats a 25% increase in the cost of petrol? I get so much less petrol when I pump $50 worth of petrol now.
Anyway I discovered 2 very intriguing things regarding NUS from the past 3 weeks.

I always walk by the FASS club room and everytime I go past there, I hear chinese music playing on someone's laptop. I always had the impression that NUS FASS is like quite good in terms of.. the crowd.

NUS has this RAG thing that other unis don't have. Supposedly every faculty and hall has to come up with a giant float(like those in the... err.. chingay festival) with recycled materials and compete who's float looks the nicest. Apparently those people that take part in RAG spend like lots of hours on it. A few hours everyday.. multiplied by like 30 days or something.. I think it is crazy and a waste of time. Furthermore, lots of raggers buy the materials instead of collecting recycled ones. I have heard stories of halls buying a truckload of canned drinks then pour away everything and use the cans as part of the float. Suddenly I can hear the stomachs rumbling all the way from Africa.
Anyway I suspect a large portion of the raggers are doing it because they have nothing better else to do and desperately need a social life of some kind. Some of them do it to gain points in their hall so that they can continue staying though. The minority of them actually like doing it I guess. There is no such thing as preserving culture and traditions among youths in Singapore (yeah I know this sounds damn subjective but GP is over!).
I think blogging about daily life is quite weird too.. it kills interaction between people. I think I think too much.

Spiderman 3
What a disappointment.
1) Venom looked SO FAKE and SO DIFFERENT. What was the graphic designer for venom doing omg.. the mouth.. and expression... and whats up with all the shrieking that venom made? Damn retarded.. and venom was like some weakling.. had to team up with Sandman to fight spidey? The last fight between spiderman and venom was damn bad. All the poles and retarded ping-pong thing.. They should have just used the fight scene in the cartoon where spidey purposely fought and lured venom all the way to a rocket launch event.
2) So the film was 2hrs 30min long. First half of it was basically Days Of Our Lives 3. This is SPIDERMAN not some soap opera. Why the hell do we have to go around and beat around the bush.. like Mary Jane was afraid the goblin might kill spiderman so she decided to follow the goblin's instructions to save spiderman's life BLAH BLAH.. Apparently the symbiote in spidey3 is a spiteful one too(lol?) and we have to endure one out-of-the-point dance session in the jazz lounge..
3) Why the heck was GWEN STACY introduced to the film!?! A love rival for MJ? Thats nonsense really. Besides the soap opera thing, Gwen Stacy basically is not/not going to become a mutant/superhero. Why couldn't they have used Felicia Hardy in the film instead? At least she was to become Black Cat in the future and she was also spideys love interest in the comics. They could have used her and set her up for spiderman 4.
4) Sandman shouldn't even be in the film. His background story is so lame. Oh I need to save a daughter so I have to rob some banks yar? They should have used Dr. Conners instead. His background story is so much more interesting. Well for your info in the comics Dr. Conners(spidey's professor) tried to implant the genetic structure and cells of a lizard into himself to attempt to regrow his missing arm(lizards can reproduce their limbs). The operation exceeded his expectations as he mutated into a lizard instead, with a new arm though while in the lizard form. I mean this Dr. Conners background story is less cliche don't you think? Rather than the i-rob-bank-to-save-daughters-life-then-i-ACCIDENTALLY-fell-into-some-nuclear-physics-experiment-pit thingy. There is already an accident involving spiderman becoming spiderman. Then an accident involving eddie brock being at the church to become venom. The only non-accidental character happens to be Harry Osbourne. At least he intended to become the goblin. Lucky for that. If not we will have 4 accidental characters having one hell of a time together. Then people will start to think spiderman3 is filmed accidentally too.
5) The newscaster. My god.. He said something like this when the tagteam match was going on, "Well things certainly look bleak for spiderman. Could this be the end for spidey?" REALLY DRAMA MAMA.. kaowdnwodnwaiodndawdn
I realize that I sound like some fanboy or someone who thinks that he can write better than the scriptwriter, but I just had to say something.. it could have been a better film.. The reviews were overrated really. Of course there were good parts in the film, like the tag-team at the end, spidey's rage at sandman due to the symbiote.. but oh well.. I saw more of the bad stuffs.
The same happened to X-men. Magneto was just portrayed as a villain, while the x-men were just x-men trying to save the world or something. What about the philosophical arguments/fight between the X-men and Magneto? Couldn't they have cut the drama and added the depth that is in the comics to raise the intellectual level of the movie to cater to the adults?
Pirates is the next big movie. It probably won't screw up like spidey I think.
