My car.

Following two very mind-blowing experiences today, I have decided to dedicate a post on my blog to my car, and well, cars in general too.

Firstly, some HOUSE RULES for my car. This is MY car, not my parents' or family's, which is why I am so concerned about it. If it was a car for my whole family to use then well I would probably be more relaxed with the cleanliness and other stuffs of the car.

Rule #1 :

If you are in very dirty attire or you are perspiring like crazy, please change or do something about it.

Rule #2 :

Don't smoke before you get into my car. If you got the cigarette smell, I won't mind waiting a while for you to clear the smell off.

Rule #3 :

No eating in my car. I don't care if you say you won't drop the food or whatever.

Rule #4 :

If you don't stay within 1-2km of the route I am going to take back to my house, don't expect me to fetch you back home unless I know you very well or I think you are someone worth sending back home. For a 5-10km journey the petrol costs about 5-10 bucks I estimate. I am not exactly rich.

Rule #5 :

As my car is meant to be a 2+2 seater car, be careful of where you step as its quite cramped behind(I push my seat way back for my own comfort). Don't dirty the car. Take your time to get in/out.

Ok thats it for the house rules. Now for some concrete information if you plan to buy a car and have lots of doubts/queries/questions with regards to owning a car.

A mid-range car will cost between 45k-60k. If you plan to pay instalments for 10 years(10years is mad, its for people who are really desperate for a car IMO), expect a monthly bill of around 400+ or 500+ bucks. Add in insurance/road tax and you will end up with 600 bucks a month on the average. Parking will generally cost you around 140bucks a month. Season parking for HDB/condo(I guess you pay for maintenance), parking in town(like $2-$4 an hour) and parking at other carparks($1 an hour). You will need to pump $50 worth of petrol(Formula 95 @ SHELL) per week too.

Add it all up. You will end up with a figure close to $1000. With that money you can probably date 2 girls actually.

Oh yeah, I just got a letter from Traffic Police for my red light thingy 3 weeks ago. 12 demerit points and 200 bucks fine. Fuck them. Damn pissed off. I could do so many things with 200 bucks.

But well, having a car rocks anyway. It is worth it in my opinion. Freedom to go whereever to eat at whenever time.

Next car that I think I will get : 206cc or 307cc. Something unique and flashy. I hate those tuned-up cars that look like crap.

4D3N Cruise to Penang/Phuket

Would just like to publish some pictures and details of the cruise that bankrupted me..

Everything can be an offence to them.

Cruiser #1 : Tongo Pongo

Cruiser #2 : Madamemoiselle Elissa

Cruiser #3 : HASU HUANG

Surveying the pool for some action..

The famous hawker street was closed in Penang..

At least we have a shopping centre to go to..

Our corridor on the ship..

Taking out my phone on the jet ski in the middle of nowhere..

This shows you how strong the wave was.. I was out like 400m from shore and I was damn scared the jet ski would overturn..

The look of a very satisfied person after a jet ski session..
No cameras allowed in the casino so yeah.. I lost 150 bucks to the black jack dealer.. The problem was.. I could not bring myself to quit when I was winning.. and when I lost I kept thinking I could win it all back.
Bingo, Pictionary, Casino games, Swimming, Midnight jacuzzi session, Eating, Sleeping, the Cookout.. One good cruise.
The crew onboard the ship is damn good.. All of them can sing, dance, host a show, entertain etc etc.. I won't be surprised if the blackjack dealer is one of the singers at the lounge at night.
Time for more work to make up for the dip in my funds..
